AX 2012- Invoicing a Procurement category not working

Hi all,

I am new with AX and this is my question.
I am trying to post an invoice where there is a category but it does not work. I have an error message" Account number for transaction type Purchase expenditure for expense does not exist" . However I have setup through Inventry & Warehouse management /Posting , a GL account for that posting. So what could be the problem? Any help will be appreciated. .

Check if you have setup the posting on category level. If no, then create the posting on category level instead of All, Group or Item. This should help you.
