Hi there
I have a requirement to have a monthly contract for a monthly Internet service where there are no items involved. I'd like to use the service contract feature but am not quite sure I understand how to have a 'product list' for services.
I'd like to create a contract for each customer for the product they choose and have a price associated with that product i.e. 20GB package at $50/month
I'd like to bill all clients using the create service contract invoice batch job as there will be many clients to invoice.
The only way I can see to enter a line on a service contract without associating a service item is to simply enter a description and then manually enter a price, which doesn't provide any validation and leaves room for operator error. I don't see any way to use resources on a service contract which would solve my problem.
Am I missing something? Any suggestions?
