Hello -
I have an item setup as follows:
Costing Method: FIFO
Unit Cost: $25.00
Dimension 100 - Same Code Mandatory
I do a receipt for 1 unit, I then Sell that 1 unit - the cost through out is $25.00, but this is an unvouchered / invoiced cost -and I am expecting my Inv. Periodic Activities to adjust after the Vouchering / Invoicing occurs.
In all the transactions above - the Dimension Code 100 has posted perfectly!
Scenario #1
On the Item's Card, I change the Dimension Code from 100 to 200, keeping the Same Code Mandatory.
1. When I go to voucher / Invoice - will I get an error that the Dimension must be 100?
2. If #1 is "No" - and I'm able to voucher --- will I get an error message that the Dimension Code must be 100 when I run my Periodic Activities?
Scenario #2
I voucher / invoice the Purchase Order, but do not run my Periodic Activities. I then change my Dimension Code from 100 to 200, keeping the Same Code Mandatory.
1. Will I get an error from the Periodic Activities that the dimension code is in error?
