Installing Language module

Hi Friends,

I need to install the language module for the Uruguay (Spanish language) in the server. Can anyone explain me how to do it?

I have tried installing it in the following procedure, but I did not get the proper result. The below are the points I tried which is given in msdn microsoft site. [http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/ee414196.aspx]

Database Component

To install the database component of a language module

1. If you are using the Classic database, then you must expand the size of the database before you add the new language resources.
2. Verify that the license that you are using allows you to compile objects.
3. In the Classic client, open Object Designer.
4. In Object Designer, click All.
5. On the Edit menu, click Select All.
6. On the Tools menu, point to Language Module, and then click Import.
7. In the Language Module Import window, browse to the location where you downloaded the language module, navigate to the Database folder, select the .flm file, and then click Open.
8. With all objects selected, on the Tools menu, click Compile.

When I change the language in Tools > Language, the items in menusuites are not changing. Can anyone help me, where I am going wrong and how to proceed?

Have you installed correctly the language forlder in you NAV installation folder?

Are you sure it should be done through Language module..or Translate? :-k

It was mentioned in the microsoft msdn site. So I did like that..

If you are working on test database, can you take backup of 1 object and try to import with translate ..

If I select Translate and tried to Import/Export, the 2 options are not active.

Did you restart navision after importing through language module?

I did not restart. I did not find the Microsoft Dynamics NAV in services. Actually, I need do it in server where the Navision was installed.

I think you are checking on classic as you posted in classic client forum..

just close the classic client and open and check..

I am not doing it in my local system. Through Citrix, I am opening Navision client and did all the above said installations and I checked for the services. It is not there in the services list to restart #-o .

I have closed and opened the classic client many times.
