Event ID: 7031 - Navision service stops

Recently after running for years withot problems, our native Navision 2.5 service is shutting down about once a day. The only message in the event log is Event ID: 7031 - Service Control Manager. The service NAVISION has unexpectantly shut down....
Any ideas? Outside of the monthly Microsoft patches we have made no changes to the system.
