Single Instance Codeunit and Automation Instance

Hi,

I'm using a single instance codeunit with automation server for TCP/IP communication. Starting single instance codeunit within a finsql.exe client simply creates an instance of an automation server. The automation server establishes a TCP connection.

Closing the databse then finishes the single instance codeunit. But the automation server instance is still alive and blocking TCP port. I could prove this with event log entries.

Is there anyone with information about this behaviour? My main problem is using this single instance codeunit with NAS. When the error "another user has blocked..." occurs, the NAS automatically recovers itself, stops single instance but automation server instance is still alive...
