NAS 2009 SP1, Error MMC could not create snap-in

Hi,

I have installed NAV Application Server from NAV 2009 SP1 installable setup, on windows server 2003 SP2 machine.

it got installed succefully, but when i open the application manager it is giving the error:

MMC could not create the snap-in: The snap-in might not have installed correctly.

i searched through the portal and tried to register dll's in app server folder but it is not getting registered.

installation of Visual C++ 2005 redistrributable also didn't help.

any pointers please..

I always had problems with the add-in, that is the reason I never use it.
And that is the reason I use batchfiles to install/De-install it: Check this for helphttp://www.mibuso.com/howtoinfo.asp?FileID=15

BTW: if you just need to change some parameters, you can do that by changing the values in the registry. But be careful with this.

I installed Visual c++ 2008 redistributable package and it worked fine..
