The server "net.tcp://localhost:7046/DynamicsNAV/Service" is either unavailable or your connection has been lost.
I get this error on RTC reports only whether I run via VPN or on the local server - where they used to work. I am pretty sure they used to work on my VPN client as well.
When I went to set up users, it no longer worked, then I retested my personal environment with the same problems.
I have reviewed the posts I could find, but they do not appear to address the problem I have.
Is there a security setting that could have been changed that prevents reports from running?
(We have a separate domain admin group who manages the servers.)
I have super rights in NAV plus dbo rights to the database.

I checked the event log but did not check the detail portion.
It had a null parameter when I executed reports.
I recompiled all the reports, and they work now.
I did the initial install with 2009R2, then applied the platform patches later.
I wonder if this had anything to do with the problem.

I had never considered a platform update as a reason to recompile before, but now I know better!
