Tell what is in stock easily?

I know my system is different than yours since I have something called Matrix, but I figured I'd ask anyway.
Our new merchandise is starting to come in. Some received and entered in Navision, some not yet arrived.
At the same time I have a bunch of orders to ship as ready when the items come.
Is there a way to easily show what items on a Sales Order have Qty. On Hand currently? This way we can quickly determine which orders are mostly filled and can ship?
... maybe if not then I need to code a new report.
My current way of doing thigs is we have an Excel file that shows all our new items for 2012 and in one column we check off if it's in stock or not. Takes awhile specially when I have some big orders.

If so then really the only way is to create a temp table that extrapolates all the fields out then you can create totals based on that. There are other ways but the temp table will be the easiest.
