Hi, I have a customer who has managed to get themselves into a real pickle and i am currently trying to get my head around inventory costing myself so would appreciate any advice you can give.
Customer created a PO for item ABC with qty of 120,000 then receipted the items with a zero cost, the order however was not posted and should never have been receipted, they decided to correct this ( don't ask me why they did this) by creating a journal with a negative adjustment to correct that entry ...
I assume that we need to do a positive adjustment and also post the PO and credit but as far as i can see this still leaves the stock value incorrect and i wonder if there are any steps or checks i need to follow ...

But you can undo the receipt and then delete te purchase order. Then undo the other booking
