Attaching PDF documents to Emails *HELP Needed*

Hi, and thank you for looking at my problem, hopefully one of experts can give me a solution and a how-to as well
Currently my users, send reports such as purchase orders, order confirmation, and invoices to customers/suppliers via email, this is done within Navision, this method sends a email directly through Navision, users don’t have any say as to what is being sent to customer/supplier, a button is pressed and email shoots out as PDF document (were using amyuni pdf converter).
Therefore is there any way to convert the document to PDF and attach it to email so that the user can type to the customer/supplier in the body of the email. For example we could have a email button on the form that when you press it, outlook new message dialog box fires-up with the pdf document attached. Is this possible to do? If so please let me know or any other method, Thank you in advance.

Yes, it is possible..
Set OpenDialog parameter to true in NewMessage function of Codeunit Mail.
By the way, in which version? RTC/Classic..
You can search the forum..you will get lot of posts..0 -
Hi, Thanks for your reply, were on 5.0.1 (SP1), I’ve had a quick looks at the code unit mail, unfortunately it won’t let me know some sort of restriction set on it, no way around this?0

Are you a customer or Partner?0

a Customer, trying to save some money:)0

Yes, that won't work. If you cannot edit codeunits, we can't help you further.
Contact your partner and don't ask for could you modify so that it opens a new email message, but ask for either why there is no setup for the automatic mails that you as customer can edit. Or if there is, where it resides in your system.
Either way, if there is no setup, ask for one to be created instead of just a modification that will always open a message.0 -
OK thanks for your information, least i know it can be done0
