Filtering 'mini-dropdown' lists ('DropDown field group)

Hi,

I just wanted to check - am I right in thinking it's impossible to filter the mini dropdown lists (find as you type) that are used for item/customer/vendor/GL lookups, other than using the TableRelation property? I want to use a different filter on a user-by-user basis but as soon as you use code in the OnLookup() trigger then the mini-dropdown list is lost and replaced with the default list page for the lookup table.

Thanks

Jonathan

If possible and applicable, try with the onopenpage trigger :-k

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I'm assuming you mean the OnOpenPage trigger on the lookup list page, whereas ideally I don't want to use the lookup page I'd rather stick with the standard mini dropdown list.

I'm hoping that the minidropdown inherit the filters in the onopenpage :) ....try it! ;)

Wow, I never expected that to work but it does! You are right-filters set in the default lookup list page are reflected in the mini drop-down list. Not the approach I was planning to use but will probably do the job, thanks!
