Shift depreciation in FA module

Hi experts,

Shift depreciation is common in manufacturing compaies.shift deprecaition is calculate deprecaition on machine which works in two shifts.
Howeever it is surprising to know that standard NAV 2009 (Classic) does not cater to this requirment.

My client has purchased only the FA module & wants this shift deprecitaion.Is there any update available in Microsft for the same some releases or it will be customization.Please throw light on this

Check if User defined method can be used else you need to customize. I am not sure if Shift Depreciation is used elsewhere in world. It seems more or less India specific requirement.
