Financial Year Change

Dear Friends,
one of my customer is using financial year as Jan-Dec in Nav 2009 Global. we are going to migrate database Global to India version. no as per Indian rule Financial year should be Apr-Mar. now i want to change the Financial year in new database. how can i do it.
they have closed financial year on December 2010 in global version.
can anybody suggest me what can i do for this.
