Hello All,

Does any one had an experiance in installing NAV in Armenia.
The problem is about managing the Armenian Alphabet (unicode) in Navision forms and documents :
We will have to manage both Armenian and english in the same document (invoice, credit memo ...)
Example : in attached image.

Thanks in advance.

As far as I know NAV could not work with unicode.
I had an experience in implementing NAV in Azerbaijan. There were special fonts (TTF) to provide national characters support.

    Hello GRIZZLY,

    Thank you for your answer.
I have also the font for Armenian (installed in fonts). How could I do in NAV to be able to enter DATA in Armenian, make reports display it and import Armenian by Dataports?

    Thanks in advance.

As far as I remember for Azerbaijan there was a special tool Azeri2ANSI, which changed ANSI charset for national support. You should speak to customer if they have such tools, and how they input data in different applications.

Thank you so much GRIZZLY for those tips.
Know my last problem to solve is that I have to generate an XML file with unicode caracters from NAV.
The data is stored in ASCII in NAV, but I have to convert it to Armenian unicode UTF8 or UTF 16 in the XML file.
Does any one have an idea about this please?

    Thanks.

I think you should create some kind of conversion table from NAV ANSI to 2 bytes Unicode.
