Change order of sorting of DropDown-Menu

Does anyone know if there exists a way to change the order of the sorting in the DropDown-Menu from ascending to descending?

I know that you can set a filter on the page that is the lookup page (set in LookupFormID) and that filter is applied to the dropdown. The filter is defined on the OnOpenPage() Trigger. Maybe you can set the sort order there.
