for service item, where do you set them up on Navision so as you can process them on a sales order. for instance Transport services, cabling services...

If you set them as item, they will go to negative stock.
If it is on GL, there are too many services to set them up on GL accounts.

pls advise

Usually a Service Item is created when you sell an Item, not the other way around. So you sell something, and now you service that Item for your customer. You can't sell it, because it's already sold.

I guess don't understand your question.

I think Hinter want to deal with Services sold to a client not Service Items as we would know them in Service Management.

In standard Navision Sales Order Processing it would have to be through to G/L accounts, you could post it to one account and use dimensions to allocate it to different type of service. Otherwise it is a mod of some sort to to allow you to do this.

there maybe other ways that i haven't thought of.
