Ordering dateforumulas

Hi all,

I have a a set of records where a dateforumula is part of the primary key. The problem I have is that the dateformula values are treated as strings, thus when it comes to ordering 6M is greater than 1Y.

Has anyone got a solution to this?

I was thinking of adding a date field to the table, and assigning it a value based on a hardcoded date and the date formula.

Would prefer a solution without adding another field to the table. Any ideas?

In standard NAV the payment terms table has a Code as key. The user can create the codes themselves making it possible to manipulate sorting indepentent of the dateformula. Why would you have the dateformula as key field?
