Running NAV4.0 on Macs

One of our customers is currently running NAV4.0 on Macs by running XP in a virtual environment on the client machines. They have now installed a Mac server and are running the NAV database in a virtual Windows server environment on the Mac server.
I appreciate that Microsoft do not recommend running live instances of NAV in a virtual environment (and that’s on the Microsoft stack!) however does anyone has any experience of customers running NAV on Mac Clients and Servers and if yes what sort of issues and obstacles did you have to overcome (aside from Mac users).
The setup has been quite stable so far however any advice, tips or experience anyone has gained from doing something similar would be much appreciated.

*I would be too nervous something would go wrong with a different setup. (personally for myself)
The clients then use RDC to connect to the server.
