Amount / Unit value in structures

Hi - Is it possible to enter the amount/unit value (Calculation Value) while using structures at runtime in Indian Localization? We have multiple products for which we need to configure Excise / CVD. Hence instead of configuring one or two Excise Business Posting Group and Multiple Products for those, I would like to configure a single Business-Product posting group such that the user can enter amount/unit value via "Invoice --> Structure" at run time.
Right now, I simply left the Calculation Value field blank in the structure and excise posting setup. However, even after entering a value multiple times in the relevant field, it keeps getting reset to blank.
I'd appreciate any input on this.
