"the function OSVERSION() is Obsolete" (Call Report by WS)

In a customers DB (4.3 -> converted to 2009 R2) i have a webservice which runs a report (no layout, just some code). When i try to run the report i get the error message "the function OSVERSION() is obsolete". It's thrown at the time the Report.RUNMODAL is called. and it has nothing to do with the code used in the report (even the OnPreReport() Trigger never gets called. So i think there must be somthing wrong with an internal function or something? Mabe Codeunit 1?
Any ideas?

there was a function in the Printer Selection Table which used the OSVERSION Function...
