Dear all,
I'm using NAV2009R2. My client would like to close off the accounts on a monthly basis. Is this possible without setting the accounting year on a montly basis and retaing the actual dates?

only with some coding... you need to modify "Close Income Statement. The drawback is that you won't get YTD-figures this way. Therefore I won't recommend it. NAV always calculates amounts over all periods, closing is not needed (except for the YTD-figures on income statement accounts). That's a difference from many other accounting systems.
