Nav 2009 R2 Connector for CRM

Hi,

I need some help getting the CRM connector configured for Nav 2009R2 and CRM2011.



The adapter settings for CRM2011 are fine but I cannot apply settings for NAV, although the tests run fine. I'm pretty sure, that there is a very simple detail that I have missed, but I can't find answers anywhere.

Has anyone got any ideas about how to proceed?

Replying to my own post, because my findings may be of value to others.

IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO GET THE ADAPTERS CONFIGURED CORRECTLY ON FIRST SETUP. I couldn't update the values afterwards, which is somewhat strange - but nevermind.

If you get it wrong the first time, uninstall the Connector - delete the SQL database named MSDI and reinstall.

After reinstalling some times the installer will no longer register the service :-(

It may be wrong to do it this way, but it seems to work. Remember to reboot server before service is visible, then change the logon account to something valid.

So now I'm about to do some mapping.

It would appear that the default mapping only works with ENU editions of CRM or NAV. Because it sure as hell doesn't work with danish NAV and CRM :-(

Has anyone got any experince with this or am I learning integration step by step on my own?
