LANHAM EDI [Outbound Conditional Issue]

m8trixm8trix Member Posts: 8
I am very new to Lanham and the resources seem to be sparse.

Can anyone recommend a more fully covered documentation [books, online pdf, etc] :?:

Right now I am stuck with a conditional on an outbound LIN [832 if it matters].

Sometimes I have a MF and sometimes I don't. When I have a Manufacturers Part, I want to output the MF and the PART. When I do not have the Manf Part, I don't want to output either.

eg: ](*,)

LIN*****IN*11721222-X*VP*1029321*MF*XS-1029382122211
LIN*****IN*10291212*VP*473734

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Joel

Joel, if I understand your requirement then you should should be able to use the 'Bypass Segment if Blank' logic found on the segment setup. When using this condition the entire segment is bypassed if the conditioned field is blank. Failing that I would contact your partner who should have access to Lanham technical support.
