Co-product

Hi Guys,

I would like to discuss a case in relation to the two output from one input item. In our customer environment

Input item= Sheet
Output item=Liner and mold.

AX does not provide functionality of having Co-Product and By-Product in the BOM. Please suggest how to handle this scenario in AX 2009.

    Standard AX doesn't support this functionality. You need Process Manufacturing for that...

    Yes you would need to purchase the FullScope Process MDIS. Microsoft allow these MDIS products to allow for verticals the core product does not need. However for AX2012 this is, I believe, becoming part of the standard product.

    Beta Version of AX2012 has launched in India on 1st August. Let us install this product and check the C0-Product and By-Product functionality given by MS.
