Steps to reverse Purchase Invoice linked to a Job

Hi,
One of my customer is using Job module. They posted a purchase receipt and invoice with wrong quantity for a job. Since the item is consumed upon posting the purchase invoice, they couldn't do a purchase credit note for that invoice as there is no remaining quantity for that item.
They want to reverse the quantity with the exact cost.
Their Navision version is 5 SP1.
