Automatic Populating Item Tracking LIne

Hi,
I am auto creating an item journal line from a customized interface with a button push. Now one of the items have lot no. based tracing assigned to it. When the journal will be populated, the item tracking info has to be populated simultaneously through the process.

Plz guide on which table to insert the item tracking info while populating the journal .
Will it be the tracking specification table or the reservation entry table?.
The item concerned has been posted against a GRN and the lot no. info will be fetched from the tracking data corresponding to the GRN.

Plz guide me.

If you have doubt..you can manually create a line in Item journal and assign item tracking for that..

Now go to both tables and you will get the answer..
