Inventory on Stock Run Time Calculation

In case the Inventory of an item as on 02 Jan is 50 Nos. and the stock of the same item as on 20 Jan is 250 Nos., the system allows us to consume 150 Nos of the item on 02 Jan if it were to be a back dated entry passed on 20 Jan.The system checks the Item balance of 250 Nos and allows us to post.

Can anyone suggest whether there is any solution for this problem.

If you look into the Onhand from Inventory Management -> Items, you can only see the onahd specific to the dimensions. You cannot control the stock issues based on date. And i don't find any problem here.
What makes you to post the issues in the back dates???
