I have seen a reference in an old posting to opening a reference to a specific record in a specific form by using a URL like:

navision://client/run?database=c:\program files\navision attain\client\database.fdb&company=CRONUS Nederland BV&target=Form 120&view=SORTING(Field2,Field3,Field4) WHERE(Field2=1(2000),Field3=1(9730),Field4=1(01-01-00..31-01-00))&position=Field1=0(125)&servertype=NAVISION

Could any one let me know where this syntax is documented? Also can you use a similar sysntax from the command line?

Many thanks.

Open the Navision client program and, from the Help menu, choose C/SIDE Reference Guide.
Under the Information chapter, you will find the Composing URLs topic which briefly discusses this functionality.
