BOM appear in picking lines

Hi guys,
Will my item (Eg:Item 1) set up as BOM item with sub component as 1A, 1B, 1C quantity each respectively.
(all sub components has been set up in BOM Component table)
In my S/O i didnt explode them yet and do a posting.
My questions:
1. Will there be picking lines appearing for 1A, 1B, 1C ?
2. If I change the quantity of main item 1, to 5 will it update in the sub components respectively?
Will my item (Eg:Item 1) set up as BOM item with sub component as 1A, 1B, 1C quantity each respectively.
