Export a Navision SQL Licence

Hi Mibuso World

A customer of ours wants to backup their present uploaded licence in their 6.01 SQL Database before uploading a new licence. I know that they can backup the whole database but is there anyway for SQL to give up it's licence in its previous state before uploading a new one?

Not directly from NAV. But of course, the license is saved somewhere and you can read it from there... just look into $ndo$srvproperty in master database (if license is per server) or into $ndo$dbproperty in the NAV db if per database is used.

Once investigated which licence property – can the licence itself be exported through SQL (sorry not so acknowledgeable with the SQL side)?
