Allocation of cost to divisions

Hi Friends,
i have a customer requirement to allocate divisional expenses in a predefined allocation method using the general journal form (Divisions were maintained in Global dimensions). i saw the similar allocation in the recurring journal functionality. where one line will be enterd for cost and it can be splittted to divisions but saving of the allocation percetages is not there.
did any one have given a solution for this kind of a requirement pls help me out [-o<
