Post Transfer order without fill the In-Transit Location

Hi everybody,
Do you know if there is a setup which allow to post a transfer order without fill the In-transit location ?
The reason is that the Item Ledger Entry table begins to be bigger and bigger, so if i can post the transfer without the transit only two lines will be posted in place of four for each item/variant ! the number of lines is divided by two which is not negligible !
