Can someone give me an indication on whether it is possible to still use the NAV classic client within a predominantly RTC environment.
Thanks

For a new customer we are using the RTC. For reporting however, for practical learning curve reasons, we're still using the an instance of the classic client. Some advanced reports are just too hard to create with Visual Studio doing it the RDLC-way. By just deleting the RDLC layouts these reports will open in the classic. The feel isn't too bad. But the time is near we should forget about the classic client I guess..0

there is a workaround to run forms in the RTC environment, you can search "run form rtc" in google, mibuso or whatever...it's easy...
BTW, this won't be applicable anymore when forms will be dropped, soon or after...0 -
There is nothing to stop you from running both the Classic and RTC clients side by side, connected to the same database.0
