Creating an Excel Sheet with a PDF printer as default

Hi there!

Does anybody know why creating an Excel sheet (with "CreateSheet" from table "Excel Buffer") takes only half the time or less if you have defined a PDF printer as default printer? Is this a navision or excel bug - or an "undocumented feature"?

I detected this phenomenon in a SQL Server Database (Application Release CH 4.0 SP1, Technical Release NAV 2009 SP) with Microsoft Excel 2007.

Is it possible to define the default printer from within Navision (as workaround)?

    You could try updating the Printer Selection table to have the PDF print set there.
