Versioning of Sales Quote

Hi,
I have created 5 versions of the quote. I want to represent in a report ("Sales Quote" report) the number of version of the quote that I am using.
I have used in the report the field "Sales Header". "No. of Archived Versions". I restore, let say the version number 3, but I see that in the report the version number stays 0, whereas in "Sales Header" table this field shows 5. So it seems that this field shows the total number of archived versions, not the version that I have restored recently.
Please help me, how to find the number of the version that I have restored last? (the one that I am working).

You will need to create a new field in table 36 in which you put the version number on restore of a version.
