FILTERGROUP on Document Page

Has anyone else noticed that when examining the filters set in Filter Group 4 (this is the SubFormLink property) that nothing comes up if you are on a Document Page. It works fine on lists, but not documents.
Any thoughts on how I could access the filters? I have checked groups 0 to 6, actually 0 to 100, and there are no filters listed. I have a solution with custom code, but I'd rather be able to use the properties as they were intended.
[Edit] Apparently this is only when the source table of the document page does not match the source table of the fact box. Still works fine on list pages, though.
