They are not. You cannot run RDLC reports from Classic Client.

They are however usefull (in RTC), as in NAV 7 Classic Reports will be discontinued.

ya tanx shedman for your ur reply but i have saw in navision in report object view layout then dat report is able to run through visiual studio is that possible ,if possible hw it helpful can u plz tel me ...........

The layout which you are talking about is used in RTC reports not in classic..

No in Classic Client also it has same option as view layout and showing the option for opening the report in visual studio ......mohana u can check dat once.....

We develop the rdlc reports through classic client, view-->layout only..
but they are used in RTC..

ho k and dat rdlc report we develop is through normal report object or through pages so dat it is used in RTC......

we are not running the report through classic..we are opening the report in design mode to modify the report...

when we run reports from classic client, sections data is printed..
if we run from RTC, rdlc data will be shown..

please ask senior consultants in your company..
