Hi,

we are having a problem in a customer!

Someone has upgraded the client from 5.0sp1 to NAV2009! We need to find what user made this!

Is possible to find who made the database conversion?

we've sent an email to all company asking...but no one has replied :) hehe

Thank you! :)

I don't know of any way to find out who that user was.

In case you have user time registers (F71:"User Time Registers") in the DB, you can find him: it probably is the last user who logged in.

Off topic... But does it really matter who made the change? The important thing is what are you going to do about it.

There's been many posts like this over the years,
but the one thing I never understand is why their is a "new version" client installed on a user's pc before they are ready to actually use it.
    It's begging for disaster.

If you install it..they will click it.

Thank you all for your help!

The problem was resolved imediatly installing the new client in all computers/Server that access to the NAV.

The client 2009 was not installed by the IT department in any computer so that's why out customer wanted to know who was playing with newer versions :)

I just was trying to know if there was any registry of who make this kind of changes! :)

I guess they could not find any user like this ->  but it really was the funniest reply!!!! :D eheheheh

Thank you all for your time :)

    The case is closed :D
