Navision and Novell Netware NDS

Hi All,

I may be pushing my luck here, and wishing for the impossible, but I thought someone may be able to help.

We have Navision Attain 3.60, and Novell Netware 5 with NDS. Does anyone know whether it is possible to get the Navision client to authenticate to the Netware directory in the same way it does with Active Directory?

We're running the Navision Application Server, which needs to authenticate to Active Directory, I was hoping to convince it to authenticate to the Netware NDS instead. Any ideas?!

Navision does not support Novell e-Directory or LDAP.

The best you can do is to get Novell Account Management for Windows 2000. That will allow you to synchronize Active Directory with eDirectory to ease your user management and provide password synchronization.
From this point onwards you can use Active Directory to authenticate the users in Navision, but still use Novell to manage your accounts.
