Need help upgrading NAV 2009 Database to NAV 2009 R2

Hello,
I need to upgrade a database from NAV 2009 to NAV 2009 R2.
So I am performing an upgrade from NAV 2009 to NAV 2009 SP1 and then NAV 2009 R2, Is this correct?
Please can someone provide me with step by step guide? Is this upgrade really neede, if yes, what are the changes?
Can someone tell me exact procedure?

There is no upgrade toolkit from 2009 to 2009 R2. You just need to merge your modifications into NAV 2009 R2 and do exe upgrade and import the new merged R2 objects.

1. in 2009 db. to object designer. Filter on objects that are modified.

2. Export them as text.
3. Export the same objects from NAV R2 database as text as well.
4. Get a text compare tool and move the modifications to the NAV R2 text objects.
5. Import the Merged NAV R2 objects into NAV R2 db and compile.
6. Open your 2009 database with NAV 2009 R2 client. Import the objects from step 5
7. You db is upgraded.
