Expiration Date in the Warehouse Pick NAV4

Dear All,
in NAV4, when i create pick from warehouse shipment and then go to created warehouse pick (posted from warehouse shipment), there is Expiration Date column,but when i filled in Lot No. column, the Expiration Date column was still empty. is this a bug?
Please help...
