Export to Excel Icon disappears

My client wants to save a customer statement to excel. I find that sometimes the Export to Excel Icon disappears so they can't export or even print the statement. So how does toolbar that appears on the RTC reports change like that? I want to know why the Export to Excel Icon disappears.

if currreport.preview instruction is used in the report, some buttons (save as... for example) disappears. It's by design, you can search mibuso for currreport.preview in the "nav three tier" forum. You'll get a pair of threads talking about it.
