Deletion Itel Ledger Entry

Dear Friends,

we are facing stock mismatch of one specific item at specific location, due to some entries which are not supposed to be posted. after we have identified those entries sys is not allowing us to delete the line and have given error YOU DONT HAVE THE PERMISSION TO DELETE FROM THE ITEM LEDGER ENTRY TABLE.

what steps i need to carry in order to remove those unwanted entries.

You may not delete those entries.
So the solution should be new item ledger entries posted throught the item journal to counter those wrong entries.

You can post -ve/+ve adjustment entries to nullify those entry via item journal.

We have a home grown compression of the ILE and VE tables. If a customer want to lose a ear of history, we end up posting a net change from and item journal equal to the sum of the ILE entries, and then have to delete the ILE entries.. (It is more complicated than that)

In order to delete an Item Ledger Entry record (and I am not suggesting you do that) you have to use a developers license...
