NAS Error

ntnt Member Posts: 160
I've got a problem when i try to startup the NAS service, the error is: "The service did not start due to a logon failure"

I've already put the service with an administrator logon. In the Navision database i've already created a windows login as an administrator also.

Thks in advance

Does this user have the correct roles assigned in Navision?
Now, let's see what we can see.

    try the folowing,

logon to navision with windows authentication and with the credentials used with the NAS service.

If this works try to run the Single Instance CU that is run by the NAS

Now it gives this error when i try to open the database:
"It's not possible to find the network path.
This Message is related to the file.
The network server couldn't be active or the path is invalid"

    I assume it's a native DB Server.

Is your DB on a different server than your navision database service and you connect to it via a network drive?
if so try to avoid this and change it.

Do the users who use Database login have the same problem?
