Bill Adjustment

Hi Experts,


Hundi(Local bill written in local language) adjustment required against different parties and its includes penalty process also.


Example: At the time of Bill Payment to Party through Bank,party bill worth rupees 5,000.
I have to pay 5,000 rupees to party but now I want to deduct 500 rupees against that particular bill for some defect in goods,means currently bill payment amount is ruppes 4,500.
So what process I need to follow????to deduct 500 from that bill.

I don't know your legal requirements but generally you create a credit memo for correction purposes.
