NAV Manufacturing - Create Inbound Warehouse Request

I'm trying to fill out my understanding of Manufacturing in NAV 2009 by learning the use of the settings that I've not yet used. One such setting is the 'Create Inbound Request' tickbox, which can be found in the Refresh options within a production order.
I've ticked this and tried using the GREEN location in CRONUS as it requires put-aways, but so far no warehouse activity has been created.
The training manual also explain the option of using 'Create Inbound Whse. Request' from the actions menu, but I don't have that option.
Am I missing some setup that makes this option appear/work?
If someone could please explain this option I would greatly appreciate it, as I'm getting nowhere! ](*,)
Thanks
Andy
Warehouse Create Inbound Request: If the warehouse location is set up to require put-away processing but does not use directed put-away and pick, place a check mark here to create a warehouse request for the putting away of the production order's components.
