please how I can extract the contents of a field of type option: navision database
for example in the table Sales Line Navision, how to know the number of the customer who is to document type "command" order number is "1000"..

I do not understand what you want... Could you be more specific? How to work with option field is described in any development documentation...

I can not understand you clearly,
but if the OptionString of Document Type is 'Quote,Order,Invoice,Credit Memo,Blanket Order,Return Order' (for example)
then the column of Document Type in the table of database is '0,1,2,3,4,5'.

But the numerical value use only if you are accessing the DB from outside NAV!
