I would like to add custom icons to the action icon library.
Is there any way to do that?

e.g. If was setting up sporting activities, I would want to show a tennis racket for tennis, a baseball bat for baseball, and so on.

    Unfortunately not an option.

    Thanks.
I just read a blog on msdn that said maybe in a future release (but not in R2).

If we know that the action icons reside in the file Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Language.dll, isn't it possible to change these bitmaps using some kind of resource editor?

Before NAV 2009, one could use programs as Restorator or ResourceHacker to modify fin.exe/finsql.exe ... although this is not allowed and not supported of course.

It is possible to use a resource editor to edit the resources, however to make the assemblies run again with the product will require a re-signing as the assmblies are strong signed.
