handling multiple table via a report

I have two separate tables, first table contains all data to be shown on the report and the second one contains the date field. could I use the date filter from second table as a filter for the report. The code field of both table is primary key...

I think it is a silly question but asking if there is any solution???

Why dont you create a Start Date and End Date fields in Request form and filter first data item based on the input?
